Fertility Care
If you're hoping to have a child but face challenges in conceiving one, you need experts who can help you determine the cause and recommend a course of action.
We provide initial evaluations, preconception counseling, diagnostic testing and a range of personalized treatment options.
For women, once your primary care physician or gynecologist refers you to fertility care, you and your partner will meet with a reproductive endocrinologist, an obstetrician/gynecologist with specialized training and experience in diagnosing and treating infertility.
Men who need a fertility evaluation will meet with a urologist who specializes in the health and functioning of the urinary tract and male reproductive organs.

Collaborative Care from Experts
Our team specializes in a variety of conditions that can impact fertility in women, including polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, and ovulation regulation. For men we consider factors such as problems with ejaculation or sperm production.
We also partner with Reproductive Partners Fertility Center–San Diego for assisted reproductive technology (ART).
When to See a Fertility Specialist
In most cases, if you are unable to become pregnant after one year of trying, you should see your primary doctor. This could be your gynecologist, urologist or primary care physician.
But for anyone already concerned about fertility, especially women over the age of 35, it's usually a good idea to see a doctor earlier, after about six months of trying. Your primary doctor can offer advice and perform some initial assessments. If necessary, they may refer you to a reproductive endocrinologist or urologist.
